VoxInk ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our voice keyboard application.

Our Core Principle

VoxInk never stores your voice or text data. All audio processing happens in real-time and is immediately discarded after transcription. We do not save recordings, transcripts, or any content you create — neither on your device nor on our servers.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service:

• Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. Your email is hashed (one-way encryption) and used only as an account identifier. We do not store your plaintext email on our servers.
• Usage Statistics: We track aggregate usage time (minutes used per mode) to enforce plan limits. No content or audio data is included.
• Subscription Data: If you subscribe, Apple handles all payment processing. We receive only the transaction ID and product identifier to activate your plan.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Voice recordings or audio data
• Transcribed text or translated content
• Keystrokes or typing patterns
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or other personal data
• Device identifiers for advertising or tracking

How Voice Processing Works

When you speak into VoxInk:

• Audio is streamed in real-time to our speech recognition provider (Soniox) for transcription
• For Polish and Translate modes, the transcribed text is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) for processing
• Results are returned to your device immediately
• No audio or text is retained after processing completes

Full Access Permission

VoxInk's keyboard extension requests "Full Access" to enable network communication for voice transcription. This is the only reason Full Access is needed. We do not use Full Access to collect keystrokes, monitor your typing, or access any data beyond the voice input you explicitly provide.

Third-Party Services

• Soniox: Speech-to-text processing. Subject to Soniox Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini: AI text processing for Polish and Translate modes.
• Google Sign-In: Authentication only. We receive your name and email.
• Apple StoreKit: Subscription payment processing handled entirely by Apple.

Data Security

All network communication uses TLS encryption (HTTPS/WSS). Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. We follow industry best practices to protect the minimal data we handle.

Children's Privacy

VoxInk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or our website.
